The sky was such a flat un interesting subject that I turned my attention to the green shadowy landscape instead. A quick wash of color was applied to start followed by the landscape and trees. The sky was pleasantly finished with the wash that I started with, and all I needed to do to finish was nuance the edges of the landscapes trees scraping away with a pallet knife.
