Elizabeth, Luke and I showed up to paint the sunset when to our surprise most of the area was ropped off for the fourth of July fireworks display over the pond. The spot I paint at was not yet taken but the crowd of about 300 at that point was growing and by the time I was setup and painting I had quite an audience. with my back to the crowd I painted nervously and fast, only stopped once or twice by little kids and curious patriots.
